主讲人简介：
Torgeir Moan教授，中国工程院外籍院士，挪威皇家科学院院士、英国皇家工程院院士、是海洋工程领域顶尖专家，国际桥梁及结构工程师协会终身会员、美国土木工程学会终身会员。现任宁波大学船舶与海洋装备研究院院长，曾任挪威科技大学船舶与海洋工程中心主任。2016年获美国船舶海洋工程协会戴维森奖章。著名期刊《Marine Structures》主编以及其他多个国际期刊编委，发表了约700余篇学术论文、出版了19本专著与合著。主要研究方向为海洋结构物设计、风险与可靠性、随机动力学与疲劳、海洋可再生能源技术。他曾为中国培养了30余名高端人才，3名当选挪威技术科学院院士，14名入选国家和省级人才计划，为海洋强国建设提供人才支撑。
报告内容简介：
Bridges on rivers and offshore areas are important infrastructures for transportation. However, when water is getting deep and crossing span is long, or seabed condition is extremely soft, conventional fixed-type bridges become too expensive. On this occasion, floating bridges are economical and attractive alternatives. For long-crossing floating bridges, flexibility of bridges are getting important, meanwhile, inhomogeneity in environmental conditions, and ship impact poses great challenges in design of floating bridges. These aspects will be specially covered in this presentation.
